About us

We all benefit from the emergency services at some point in our lives; often on more than one occasion, too. So, how can we show them our gratitude? Well, here at Class Publishing we're committed to supporting those working within the emergency profession by providing the correct clinical publications to assist their crucial service to society.

We’re determined to provide the best clinical resources for you, whether you’re currently working within the emergency services or studying to become part of the profession. We’re always keen to hear from new authors, so if you have new and innovative writing ideas concerning the subject fields we offer, we’d love to hear from you!

As the leading independent publisher for pre-hospital care in the UK, Class Publishing incorporates three divisions: Class Professional, Class Learning & Class Health.

Under Class Professional, we publish approximately eight titles a year, whilst co-operating with the American publisher, Jones & Bartlett Learning, to produce localised editions of pre-hospital titles. In an age where digital technology is revolutionising the publishing world, we've elevated our digital platform by working closely with the UK Ambulance Service Community to create the JRCALC app, providing quick and easy access to bespoke guidelines for paramedics.

Within Class Learning, we have been the European representatives of Jones & Bartlett Learning since 1991, providing a broad spectrum of titles from health care and emergency services to computer information systems. As European representatives, we liaise in a professional and friendly manner with UK and European universities to help provide suitable materials for their courses.

Class Health’s raison d’être is to give people back control over their lives by presenting medically sound and practical information in plain English. That’s why we publish titles across the range of common health conditions, as well as covering some uncommon ones, with an aim to have the definitive book in each category.

Whether you’re currently working within the emergency services, or studying to become part of the profession, we're determined to provide you with the best clinical resources, and in the most immediate way possible. We’re always keen to hear from new authors, so if you have new and innovative writing ideas concerning the subject fields we offer, we’d love to hear from you!
